Jay Sitaram
Founder and Managing Director

Jay is the founder of Praxis Technologies and presently serves as its Managing Director. He guides the leadership team at Praxis in day-to-day operations. An engineer from VJTI, Masters in Engineering from Villanova University and post-graduate in management from the prestigious Wharton School of Business, Jay has a successful track record in setting up offshore services organizations. Mentorix (presently Lionbridge India), one of world's largest offshore eLearning services companies was co-founded by Jay. A serial entrepreneur and global management professional, Jay evangelizes management practices that are focused on generating shareholder value. His ability to help clients objectively assess complex challenges and opportunities, and talent for zeroing in on the best-fit solution has been demonstrated across several client engagements.

Previously, Jay has worked with global conglomerates and management consulting firms including Fortune 100 companies; he started his career with the Ford Motor Company as a Program Lead Analyst; post Wharton, Jay went on to join Bain & Company as a Case Team Leader, during his stint with Bain, Jay worked in multiple industries including telecommunications, retail, transportation, medical equipment and chemical; his last stint was as Vice-President and General Manager at Lionbridge Technologies, heading their India operations.

Anil Vichare
Chief Operating Officer

Anil is the Chief Operating Officer at Praxis. He takes care of all the core operations including software development, human resources, finance, and administration.

Anil is a post-graduate in computer science with over 20 years of experience in the IT services industry spanning diverse verticals. Anil has expertise in designing technology offshoring strategies, offshore engagement modeling, process engineering, and setting-up global delivery infrastructure. He has been involved in successfully transitioning several ADM and testing projects offshore, for Global 2000 companies. Our clients value him for his demonstrated leadership abilities in creating high performance teams, delivering quality solutions and consistently ensuring high ROI.

Anil has played a leadership role in building the application development capabilities at the erstwhile Mentorix and Lionbridge prior to joining Praxis. Anil’s management style is characterized by rare discipline and process orientation. He was instrumental in driving both organizations to an ISO certification and CMM Level 5 assessment. Anil brings in extensive cross functional experience across code and content. Over the last decade he has held senior leadership positions in IT management, technology and content product development and systems integration for Top-tier Indian IT services companies.

Vivek Sethi
Vice-President - Content, Gaming, and Knowledge Services

Vivek heads the rich media content development, gaming, and knowledge services divisions at Praxis. Vivek is a mechanical engineer and post-graduate in management with over 15 years of experience spanning diverse verticals including rich media content development and deployment, knowledge services, financial analysis and retail finance sales and transaction processing. He brings expertise in delivering large scale outsourced content development solutions to some of the world's top educational publishers, ISVs and Fortune 100 corporations.

Vivek has significant cross functional experience in senior management positions at some of India's leading offshore content service providers, having led content development operations, solution development, and sales. Previously, he successfully set up a retail finance & telecom products reselling business. He has also worked at India's top credit rating agency.

Ajay Mendes
Assistant Vice-President – Software Services

Ajay manages our key customer accounts which includes courseware and platform development. He is also responsible for client relationship and business development.

He is a post-graduate with an advanced diploma in computer software and system analysis and has around 15 years of leading and managing high-performance teams with an emphasis on designing, developing and implementing technology to create efficiencies. He is a process oriented individual that strives on defining new ways and implementing new processes without using significant overhead.

Ajay has a vast international exposure, as over the years have worked on various domains including Supply Chain, Retail and E-learning as well as on/with different technologies that include IBM AS400 (RPG/400), Java (J2EE) & the Microsoft (VB/ASP/.Net) platforms for customers in multiple countries across the world. His expertise lies in conceptualizing and development of core enterprise business applications. In his professional career, Ajay has worked with leading ERP product companies and led a software product development division for a multi-national retail product company. He has traveled extensively and managed critical onsite implementations across North America, Europe, Gulf, and Asia.
